A couple of weeks ago, finally succumbed to the pressure (well....it is on sale after all :)) and bought for myself flip flops - Havaianas flip flops to be exact. Everyone's raving about it after all, how comfortable it is and all that.
Well, i tried it. My verdict? Am not going to be using it much. Why? It seems my feet aren't used to expensive footware. Since it is made of rubber, and you know how hot our country is, after just a couple of hours of walking, my feet are developing blisters - particularly between the big toe and the, hmmm....the finger next to it :)
From now on, I'll just stick with my trusty Islander sandals - where the straps are made of nylon and not rubber so that my feet doesnt blister.
